The District 9940 Business Ethics Awards recognised and encouraged high ethical standards in business and the professions throughout District 9940. They provided an opportunity for Clubs in the District to nominate outstanding individuals and businesses in their areas and for these nominees to be judged against their peers for a Rotary District 9940 Business Ethics Award. This area encompassed the lower North Island from New Plymouth to Taihape and south to Wellington.
Whilst these awards are no longer being undertaken - the award winners provide great case studies of businesses who have demonstrated their commitment to ethical business through a particular practice, programme or action so that these stories can be shared with others.
